We’re starting the weekend a little bit early since it’s a holiday! (It’s Friday somewhere, right?) Just to get your mouth watering, we’ll tell you a little bit about our Memorial Day specials this weekend, which will run Thursday through Saturday.
Begin your weekend with an explosion of flavor as Chef Justin is preparing our seafood dish, tender Grilled Albacore Tuna with spicy Wasabi Mash Potatoes and fresh Corn on the Cob. This dish will pair beautifully with Hamilton Cellars Rosé of Malbec, Goose Ridge G3 Chardonnay, or a pint of Selkirk Abbey‘s Deacon Belgian Pale Ale.
In honor of Memorial Day, an old favorite is gracing the specials list: Homemade Angus Meatloaf. This dish uses no-hormone, grass-fed beef combined with our own mix of seasonings and original Red Wine Barbecue Sauce. Chef Justin will also whip up some Rustic Mash Potatoes and fresh seasonal veggies to accompany your dinner, so you will certainly reach your comfort food quota. Pair this hefty meal with Port Brewing‘s Hot Rocks Dark Lager for a touch of smoky flavor.
Tonight only, we’ll be featuring our classic Fish and Chips. These mouthwatering morsels of cod are hand-chopped fillets set up with crisp fries and a light vinaigrette salad. Dip these babies into our House Tartar Sauce for an extra splash of flavor and pair your meal with a glass of Laurelwood Brewery‘s Workhorse IPA or Okanogan Pinot Grigio.
For something a bit lighter, bite into a fresh Greek Salad served with a side of toasted bread. Crisp garden lettuce topped with a bundle of black olives and tons of feta, and served with a light, clean vinaigrette will get your taste buds shouting, “ΥΓΕΙΑ!” (That’s “Cheers!” in Greek, FYI.) Pair this lovely salad with a glass of Sleeping Dog Sauvignon Blanc or Bale Breaker Brewing Field 41 Pale Ale and enjoy the flavor combinations.
Lastly, on Friday and Saturday, you can indulge in one of our delightful appetizers, Slightly Spicy Shrimp sautéed in chili oil. These are a great accompaniment to any beer or wine in the house as Chef keeps the flavor savory with a little touch of heat. A wonderful start to your meal!
Let the Memorial Day Weekend feasting begin!
